Funny Fishing Cat Mug — "Release Was Never an Option" Black Coffee Cup (11oz/15oz)

Steam curls from a glossy black mug as you settle in by the water or at your favorite kitchen nook. This ceramic cup carries a wry, outdoorsy spirit: a grizzled angler cat clutching a trout beneath the bold line “Release was never an option.” Short sips feel warmer, mornings feel slower, and the small, stubborn humor becomes part of your ritual. Carried into fishing trips, chilly dawns, or quiet workshop breaks, the mug speaks the same language as anyone who prefers keepers over catch-and-release — practical, a little defiant, and laugh-out-loud honest.

The deep black finish makes the artwork pop and the comfortable C-handle fits easy in gloved or bare hands. Use it for coffee before the first cast, for tea while mending line, or for hot cocoa after a long day by the lake. It blends rugged charm with everyday durability so the story keeps brewing.
